We are looking for experienced Senior Engineers who have a strong desire to lead a software development team and have already gathered significant working experience in a modern JavaScript framework (Angular, Vue, or React), have been exposed to all levels of the testing pyramid, are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and have a deep understanding of software architecture.
  • A passion for coaching/mentoring fellow software engineers regardless of the stack they work with
  • Familiarity with automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Essential expertise in the web platform, encompassing JavaScript, Browser Native APIs, HTTP/S, and web performance.
  • Proficiency in seamlessly integrating these elements through REST API services.
  • Valuable Typescript exposure is a plus.

This position is classified as CLT, meaning that you will be directly employed by the company in Brazil. As part of your employment, you will be entitled to benefits, and your salary will be in Brazilian Reais (BRL). You will work in a hybrid mode 2-3x/week in the office located in São Paulo, Pinheiros.

Salary range: 19k-25.5k BRL/month + benefits

You will join an autonomous Agile team and work closely with the Product Owner, Agile Delivery Lead, Automation Testers, and other Software Engineers to create a competitive advantage for the company and offer a unique digital experience to our customers. Besides being part of the Agile team, you will work closely with talented frontend professionals within the Chapter. :raised_hands:

As a Frontend Engineering Team Lead, you will:
  • Guide your team by analyzing and implementing new features
  • Assume full responsibility for our outstanding applications on an engaging development journey.
  • Spearheaded the development of sleek, cutting-edge product applications.
  • Leverage your expertise to seamlessly introduce exciting new features.
  • Dive into the world of requirements and intricate technical analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and UI/UX team aiming to create memorable customer experiences.
  • Work alongside the Principal Engineer and your team members to oversee the entire development cycle of new features.
  • Lead your fellow software engineers by developing their skills and fostering a culture of open communication and support as well as acting as a point of contact for key stakeholders.
Tech Stacks:
You will work with exciting technologies such as Vite, Vue.js 3, VueX, Pinia, Tailwind, Typescript, MVC (razor), Microservices, REST APIs, web components, storybook, jest, containers, web sockets, and many more.

Need to have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams, mentoring people, guiding 1:1s and code reviews.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with JavaScript.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript stacks, such as (Angular, Vue, React, and Next).
  • Familiarity with the nuances of handling large-scale applications and high-concurrent user traffic.
  • Experience in E2E products, from conception until delivery
  • Knowledge of manual and automated tests
  • Knowledge of CI/CD
  • Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Advanced or Fluent english skills

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Familiarity with React for enhanced versatility in our technology stack.
  • Understanding of GraphQL for potential future integrations.
  • Experience with NgRX for state management.
