This job opportunity is exclusively available for candidates based in Mexico. The role will be based in our Guadalajara office, offering a hybrid arrangement with up to 3 days per week in-office and the remaining days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of our new product development team, building, launching, and scaling innovative consumer applications
  • Be hands-on with coding with React and Typescript web applications.
  • Be an active participant in the architectural design of interactive mobile applications.
  • Work on testing and pipelines for delivering mobile applications to production.
  • Collaborate with international development teams across similar time zones, providing mentorship, guidance, and code reviews for up to 20% of your time.
  • Be prepared to innovate, learn, and lead in a high-paced environment, showing a growth mindset and problem-solving skills at every opportunity.

Experience and Skills

  • Strong language expertise in ES6 and Typescript
  • Client development experience with ReactJS
  • Experience ensuring code quality and performance.
  • Extensive experience with fetching data, storing, and rendering that data on web
  • Experience interacting with APIs via GraphQL, REST, or other protocols
  • Was a key engineer on multiple complex projects with architectural or design contributions
  • Proficiency with event-driven architectures, preferably with Kafka or SQS.
  • Key engineering role in multiple complex projects with significant architectural or design contributions.
  • Experience in either a startup environment or consumer application environment (or both)
  • Successfully partnered with remote development teams
  • English C1 +

Nice to Have

  • NodeJS Experience
  • Built CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience end-to-end testing web applications
