Who We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and team-player. You will be responsible for the development of new software solutions and maintaining/improving our existing applications. You should be familiar with web technologies (JavaScript, Typescript, React) and backend solutions (NodeJS, Cloud Functions, No-SQL Databases).

Responsibilities

Writing clean, high-quality, maintainable code.
Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
Support test and deployment of new products and features.
Improving existing code using best industry practices.

Qualifications

Able to communicate and write in English.
Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience in Object Oriented Design, Database Design.
Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS).
Experience with backend technologies (Node JS, Cloud Functions, Serverless Architectures) and integration with third-party APIs.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.

The level of proficiency can vary a bit depending on the company and the role, but we advise candidates to have at least an upper-intermediate level of English prior to applying. We will assess it during the hiring process.

How many years of experience I need to apply?

Most of our job roles are mid or senior-level. Because of that, we believe at least 3 years of deep experience for mid-level roles and 5 or more for senior roles are required.

Can I reapply after getting rejected?

You can reapply for the same role after 3 months of your previous application.

Can I apply to more than one opening at a time?

Absolutely! Feel free to choose as many job openings as you want when applying via our form. Just remember to check the ID (#) of the jobs you're selecting.

Are these freelance jobs?

No. At GeekHunter, we only work with full-time/contractor jobs.

Are these full-time or PJ (pessoa jurídica) jobs?

It can vary a lot depending on the company and its needs, but most of the roles listed on the job board are contractors (equivalent to PJ in Brazil).

Should the CV and application be in English?
